[Effect of proto-oncogene protein c-met ribozyme transfection on biological behavior of gastric carcinoma cells].

open access: closedZhonghua wei chang wai ke za zhi = Chinese journal of gastrointestinal surgery, 2005
To explore the effect of c-met ribozyme transfection on biological behavior of gastric carcinoma cells.U1/met292 plasmid containing c-met ribozyme gene was transfected into L2 subline of SGC-7901 gastric cell line, and the proliferative ability, distribution of cell cycle, protein expression of VEGF and c-met, as well as the potential of liver ...

Biosynthesis of the protein encoded by the c-met proto-oncogene.

open access: closedOncogene, 1989
The proto-oncogene c-met encodes a transmembrane protein with structural features of a growth factor receptor. We have previously shown that the c-met protein (c-Met) is a heterodimer of two disulphide linked chains of 50 kd (alpha) and 145 kd (beta).
