Cilj rada je bio, korištenjem Arduino razvojne platforme, realizirati sustav koji će u kućnim uvjetima automatizirati navodnjavanje i rasvjetu za biljku mente, te prikupljati, zapisivati i na LCD ekranu prikazivati informacije koje prikupi sa senzora o vlažnosti zemlje i razini vode u podlošku pitara.

U završnom radu je prikazana izrada modela prototipa vakuum pumpe, odabirom najpovoljnije koncepcijske varijante metodičkim konstruiranjem. Izvršeno je ekonomsko i tehničko vrednovanje na osnovu liste želja i zahtjeva, te odabrana optimalna varijanta.
