Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.

Similarity-Based Categorization: The Development of Prototype Theory
It is now twenty years since Rosch and Mervis first published the mass of evidence on which the Prototype Theory of concepts was originally based (Rosch, 1977; Rosch & Mervis, 1975). The theory has evolved many varieties over the years - varieties which have rarely been made explicit.

Large Transverse Thermoelectric Effect in Weyl Semimetal TaIrTe4 Engineered for Photodetection
This experimental work shows that the anomalous scanning photocurrent response patterns of the Weyl semimetal TaIrTe4${\rm TaIrTe}_4$ under visible and long‐wave infrared illumination are due to a large transverse thermoelectric response of the material.

A bipolar model of vague concepts based on random set and prototype theory
We argue that vagueness is a multi-faceted phenomenon requiring a framework for concept representation incorporating aspects of typicality, semantic uncertainty and indeterminism.

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Backbone modulation in glycolated conjugated polymers governs ion accessibility to side chains, strengthes anion adsorption, and suppresses back‐diffusion. As the number of thiophene units increases, structural reorganization, retention, and synaptic plasticity are enhanced, leading to improved neuromorphic performance in electrolyte‐gated organic ...

Using prototype theory to determine the ordinary meaning of words
The interpretation of words in case law is often a central focal point, especially when the ordinary meaning of words is contested. One of the more popular ways to determine the ordinary meaning of words is by looking it up in a dictionary.

An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.
