”Small but Mighty”: Conditions for Prototypicality Claims Within Low-Status Merger Partners

open access: yesJournal of European Psychology Students, 2015
Mergers and acquisitions often exhibit asymmetric group structure and dynamics. Minority (low-status) merger partners frequently perceive themselves as less prototypical of the new organisation, potentially hindering corporate

Rational Device Design and Doping‐Controlled Performance in Fast‐Response π‐Ion Gel Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
π‐Ion gel transistors (PIGTs) achieve extraordinary transconductance and stability through device configuration optimization, high‐mobility conjugated polymer selection, and hole scavenger doping. The optimized PIGTs maintain performance on flexible substrates, enabling printed, fast‐response, and wearable electronics.

A Corpus Study of Hedges and Boosters in the Final Investigation Report of Joint Investigation Team of Panama Case

open access: yesCorporum, 2018
Legal discourse has been the focus of research especially from the perspective of pedagogy in recent years (Baffy, 2017; Lebovits, 2002; Fakhri, 2009; Hartig, 2016). In some previous research studies, researchers have attempted to

In Materia Shaping of Randomness with a Standard Complementary Metal‐Oxide‐Semiconductor Transistor for Task‐Adaptive Entropy Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Radial Extension, Prototypicality, and Tectonic Equivalence

open access: yesOpen Theology, 2018
In his book “Without Metaphor, No Saving God: Theology After Cognitive Linguistics”, Robert Masson describes a metaphoric process by which newly accepted truths emerge: for example, in the assertion “Jesus is the Messiah,” Christians reconfigure the ...

Scalable Thermal Engineering via Femtosecond Laser‐Direct‐Written Phononic Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that femtosecond laser‐induced periodic surface structures (fs‐LIPSS) can function as phononic metasurfaces, reducing thermal conductivity below the plain thin‐film limit. Phonon Monte Carlo analysis reveals that the periodic structures restrict phonon mean free paths.

Universal Electronic‐Structure Relationship Governing Intrinsic Magnetic Properties in Permanent Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...
