Numerical Prediction of Non-Reacting and Reacting Flow in a Model Gas Turbine Combustor [PDF]
The three-dimensional, viscous, turbulent, reacting and non-reacting flow characteristics of a model gas turbine combustor operating on air/methane are simulated via an unstructured and massively parallel Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) code. This

Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.

Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.

Electrohydraulic Folding Ring Actuators for Radial Contraction
This work presents an Electrohydraulic Folding Ring Actuator that combines high‐performance electrohydraulic actuation with origami‐inspired folding geometry to achieve constricting radial actuation. This integration yields significant inner lumen constriction, alongside a gripping force capable of holding objects exceeding four times the actuator's ...
