Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer immunotherapy faces challenges in predicting treatment responses and understanding resistance mechanisms. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offer powerful solutions for cancer immunotherapy in patient stratification, biomarker discovery, treatment strategy optimization, and foundation model development.

Analysis of Memory Constrained Live Provenance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We conjecture that meaningful analysis of large-scale provenance can be preserved by analyzing provenance data in limited memory while the data is still in motion; that the provenance needs not be fully resident before analysis can occur. As a proof of concept, this paper defines a stream model for reasoning about provenance data in motion for Big Data

Multimodal Wearable Biosensing Meets Multidomain AI: A Pathway to Decentralized Healthcare

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multimodal biosensing meets multidomain AI. Wearable biosensors capture complementary biochemical and physiological signals, while cross‐device, population‐aware learning aligns noisy, heterogeneous streams. This Review distills key sensing modalities, fusion and calibration strategies, and privacy‐preserving deployment pathways that transform ...

Sustainable Phosphorylated Cellulose Nanocrystals: A Dual‐Affinity Platform for High‐Efficiency Enrichment of Intact Glycopeptides and Phosphopeptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AAA ABSTRACT Protein glycosylation and phosphorylation are critical post‐translational modifications (PTMs) governing nearly all cellular functions, yet their analysis remains challenging due to reliance on costly and unsustainable enrichment materials.

Impact of the Yangtze River on Sediment source-to-sink processes in estuarine bays: a study of the Oujiang River Estuary, SE China

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Our study was designed to unravel the provenance signals of sediments from various sediment source-to-sink processes. To achieve this, we systematically collected samples from river basins, estuaries, and offshore waters of the Oujiang River estuary ...

A Soft Matrix Microenvironment Promotes Laterally Spreading Tumors via Oxidative Phosphorylation‐Dependent Cell Adhesion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Laterally spreading tumors (LSTs) are precancerous colorectal lesions characterized by a flat morphology. This study reveals a mechanochemical pathway through which a soft matrix microenvironment diminishes spatial constraints in intestinal adenomas. This process promotes deficiencies in tight junction proteins, mediated by the mechanoreceptor ADORA2B ...

Analysis Traceability and Provenance for HEP

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2015
This paper presents the use of the CRISTAL software in the N4U project. CRISTAL was used to create a set of provenance aware analysis tools for the Neuroscience domain. This paper advocates that the approach taken in N4U to build the analysis suite is sufficiently generic to be able to be applied to the HEP domain.

Scalable Electrochemical Concrete Fabrication and Closed‐Loop Recycling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The electrochemical‐driven recycling strategy establishes a reversible concrete material flow by extracting Ca, Si, Al, and Fe from concrete waste and regenerating functional feedstocks. These reversed products are reassembled into new concrete, which re‐enters service and ultimately returns to waste, enabling a closed‐loop, waste‐origin, and low ...
