Network Desynchronization with Sine Waves: from Synchrony to Asynchrony by Periodic Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exogenous alternating current fields are explored and interact with cerebral cortex slow waves in vitro and in silico. Varying frequency and amplitude of sine waves result in distinct network dynamics, from phase‐locking and entrainment to desynchronization. These responses occupy specific regions within the parameter space.

Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomic Profiling of Penile Squamous Cell Carcinoma Reveals Dynamics of Tumor Differentiation and Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics to investigate penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC). It reveals that PSCC tumor cells mimic normal penile epithelium differentiation, independent of HPV status. The Tum_1 subtype shows basal stem‐like characteristics and promotes invasiveness. HPV‐positive basal stem‐like tumors

Polyaspartic Acid‐Calcium‐Lanthanum Complexes Induce Antibacterial Remineralization of Dentin and In‐Depth Occlusion of Dentinal Tubules

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polyaspartic acid‐calcium‐lanthanum (PAsp‐Ca‐La) complexes could induce antibacterial remineralization of demineralized dentin and in‐depth occlusion of dentinal tubules (DTs) with lanthanum‐doped hydroxyapatite (La‐HAp) via polyelectrolyte‐cation complexes pre‐precursor (PCCP) process, allowing the release of La3+ in response to acids generated by ...

Ambipolar Charge Transport in Perovskite CsPbBr3 γ‐Ray Detectors with Superior Uniformity and Spectral Resolution by Zone Refining Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zone refining processing has been proposed to achieve ultrahigh purity level in perovskite CsPbBr3 crystals, enabling ambipolar charge transport by enhancing the electron transport properties, thereby resulting in better γ‐ray detector performance with exceptional uniformity and reproducibility.
