The Effect of Amino Acids on the Formation of Amorphous Calcium Carbonate Nanoparticles
Biomineral formation often proceeds via the assembly of amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) nanoparticles with narrow size distributions. Using in situ SAXS coupled to a stopped‐flow device, we follow synthetic ACC formation with a 10 ms time resolution and show that amino acids narrow the size distribution at low supersaturation, highlighting their key ...

Provisional and Protective Measures
Abstract This chapter focuses on provisional and protective measures, which are important both in domestic and cross-border litigation to secure effective enforcement or to otherwise preserve rights and prevent (further) harm prior to the commencement of proceedings or pending final judgment.

A modular biosynthetic PVA–gelatin hydrogel crosslinked via visible‐light thiol‐ene chemistry is engineered as a coating for neural electrodes. Optimizing matrix composition and mechanical properties enables the hydrogel to support astrocytic populations that guide neural differentiation and functional maturation.

Privremena mjera zaustavljanja broda i spor o suvlasništvu nad brodom : [prikaz presude]
Spor o razvrgnuću suvlasništva nad brodom ne spada u pomorske tražbine pa se prema odnosnom brodu ne može izreći privremena mjera zaustavljanja.

This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.

Sama činjenica da je na brod upisana hipoteka u korist jednog od vjerovnika ne sprječava sud da dopusti privremenu mjeru zaustavljanja istog broda na prijedlog drugog vjerovnika.

Structural Porosity and Low Mineral Density in Enamel Rods Drive Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation
This study uses advanced imaging modalities on multiple length scales to show that molar‐incisor hypomineralization does not present as a locally homogeneous pathology. Instead, microstructural defects, characterized through non‐mineralized, protein‐rich sheaths and an altered mineral structure in between prism rods, resulting in local differences in ...

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Frustration through futility: Least developed countries and the WTO’s settlement of disputes
The lack of participation and engagement by Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in the WTO in general and in their use of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (DSU) in particular has been a continuing problem facing

Ultrathin AlOxHy interlayers between aluminum films and polymer substrates significantly improve electro‐mechanical properties of flexible thin film systems. By precisely controlling interlayer thickness using atomic layer deposition, this study identifies an optimal interlayer thickness of 5–10 nm that enhances ductility and delays cracking.
