A Universal Interfacial Dipole Strategy for Defect Suppression in Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells With Tunable Bandgaps

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 2D heterointerface with a two‐site anchor bridge suppresses nonradiative recombination at the perovskite/C₆₀ interface by reducing surface defects, elevating the Fermi level, and strengthening the electric field. This strategy enables efficient electron extraction, delivering 26.32% efficiency, 1.217 V Voc, excellent operational stability, and broad ...

The Legal Dispute Between Václav Hanka and David Kuh in the Light of Actions Taken by the Austrian Police Against the ‘Awakeners’ of the Czech Nation

open access: yesFolia Historica Cracoviensia, 2019
This essay presents the activity of the Austrian secret police that led to legal action being taken up in 1859. That year, Václav Hanka sued David Kuh, the founder and editor of the Prague newspaper “Tagesbote aus Böhmen”, for defamation, after the ...

Silicified Wood‐Inspired, High‐Strength Fire‐Resistant Chitin‐Based Aerogels for Sustainable High‐Temperature Thermal Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by natural silicified wood, a biomimetic mineralized chitin‐derived aerogel is constructed. It can withstand 81 000 times its own weight, and its backside temperature is 130.4°C after exposure to ∼1300°C butane flame for 600 s, exhibiting high‐strength, fire‐resistance, and super thermal‐insulation properties.

The Camera-Dancer: A Dyadic Approach to Improvisation

open access: yesThe International Journal of Screendance, 2016
How can the light-weight video camera in the hands of the improvising dancer, enhance compositional choices in moment-to-moment or retrospective decision-making in studio? I propose that the camera in the hands of the dancer moving and passing the camera

Residual‐Lithium‐to‐LiF Conversion Enables a LiF–Fluorinated Carbon Interphase for Reconstruction‐Resistant Ni‐Rich Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fluorine‐rich acrylate monomer (PFHEA) was solvent‐free applied to NCM90 and thermally decomposed under Ar to convert residual lithium into LiF and form a pre‐built LiF/fluorinated amorphous carbon (LiF/FC) interphase. The LiF/FC layer suppresses NiO rock‐salt reconstruction and microcrack propagation, lowers interfacial resistance, and improves Li ...

Microfluidic Modeling of Macrophage‐Induced Cardiac Inflammation Using NF‐κB Reporter Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A cardiac inflammation model was developed to enable real‐time analysis of macrophage‐cardiomyocyte interactions using NF‐κB‐reporter cardiomyocytes and a microfluidic co‐culture system. A MATLAB‐based model was implemented to optimize cell density and medium resupply based on TNFα diffusion kinetics. Activation thresholds and stress responses in NF‐κB‐

The effect of MDMA on anterior pituitary hormones: a secondary analysis of a randomized placebo-controlled trial

open access: yesEndocrine Connections
Background: 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), a psychoactive substance, has been proposed as a novel provocation test for oxytocin deficiency. Limited evidence suggests that MDMA may also stimulate the anterior pituitary. Therefore, this analysis

Entre diabolisation, séduction et légitimation. Le kitsch ou l’imitation comme « mal esthétique » ?

open access: yesCahiers d’Études Germaniques, 2017
On the basis of Clement Greenberg’s distinction between the avant-garde as “imitating the act of imitation” and kitsch as “imitating the effect of imitation” in order to provoke the pleasure of the senses, we will show that kitsch induces a “culinary ...
