Best Proximity Point Results on Strong b-Metric Spaces
In the present paper, we prove the two best proximity point results on strong b-metric spaces with coefficient λ by introducing two new concepts which are named as BW b-contraction and proximal BW b-contraction.

α8β1 integrin regulates nutrient absorption through an Mfge8-PTEN dependent mechanism. [PDF]
Coordinated gastrointestinal smooth muscle contraction is critical for proper nutrient absorption and is altered in a number of medical disorders. In this work, we demonstrate a critical role for the RGD-binding integrin α8β1 in promoting nutrient ...

Objective Foot orthoses are thought to improve pain by potentially modifying internal mechanical forces. To test this, we explored whether foot orthoses can modify patterns of bone marrow lesions (BMLs) in people with midfoot pain. Methods Forty‐two people were recruited with midfoot pain, and magnetic resonance imaging–confirmed midfoot BMLs ...

In a Hilbert framework, we introduce continuous and discrete dynamical systems which aim at solving inclusions governed by structured monotone operators $A=\partial\Phi+B$, where $\partial\Phi$ is the subdifferential of a convex lower semicontinuous ...

Coincidence Best Proximity Points of Proximal Berinde G‐Contractions
Recently, a concept of proximal Berinde contractions was introduced and applied to prove the existence of coincidence best proximity points in metric spaces. In this article, we established a new approach to show that these results can be obtained from a fixed point theorem for multivalued (β, L)‐weak contractions.

Objective Ultrasound (US) has been proposed as a potential tool for assessing skin fibrosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc). However, a large‐scale comparison of US‐based assessment with histologic markers of skin fibrosis has not been reported. We evaluated US‐based skin assessments for their face validity (differentiation between involved SSc and healthy

Tight Global Linear Convergence Rate Bounds for Douglas-Rachford Splitting
Recently, several authors have shown local and global convergence rate results for Douglas-Rachford splitting under strong monotonicity, Lipschitz continuity, and cocoercivity assumptions. Most of these focus on the convex optimization setting.

Coincidence best proximity points for geraghty type proximal cyclic contractions
Summary: In this paper, we study the notions of generalized Geraghty proximal cyclic contractions for non-self mapping and obtain coincidence best proximity point theorems in the framework of complete metric spaces. Some examples are given to show the validity of our results. Our results extended and unify many existing results in the literature.

Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

A polymer coated cicaprost-eluting stent increases neointima formation and impairs vessel function in the rabbit iliac artery [PDF]
Drug-eluting stents have been successful in reducing in-stent restenosis but are not suitable for all lesion types and have been implicated in causing late stent thrombosis due to incomplete regeneration of the endothelial cell layer.
