Best Proximity Point Results for MK‐Proximal Contractions [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Let A and B be nonempty subsets of a metric space with the distance function d, and T : A → B is a given non‐self‐mapping. The purpose of this paper is to solve the nonlinear programming problem that consists in minimizing the real‐valued function x ↦ d(x, Tx), where T belongs to a new class of contractive mappings.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Être correspondant régional en Tunisie : De l’aliénation au pouvoir à la liberté totale

open access: yesL’Année du Maghreb, 2016
The uprisings that took place in Tunisia from 17th of December 2010 to 14 January 2011 show how the mainstream Tunisian media made a blackout on what was happening in the regions inside the country.

Contact Information-Based Indoor Pedestrian Localization Using Bluetooth Low Energy Beacons

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Indoor localization technologies are actively investigated to realize location-based applications in various environments, and indoor localization methods based on whether the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is less than a threshold have been ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

TRUST IN MANAGERS REVISITED ‐ ANTECEDENTS, MEDIATING FACTORS, AND CONSEQUENCES

open access: yesDynamic Relationships Management Journal (DRMJ), 2019
The first purpose of this paper is to find the reasons why subordinates trust their managers in private organizations. The second purpose is related to whether there are national differences in the degree of subordinates’ trust in their managers. Studies

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...

Proximal Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 1998
The author studies subdifferentiability of the Baire and Mosco-Yosida approximates to a nonconvex function in a Banach space setting. Close results in Hilbert space are given [\textit{F. H. Clarke, R. J. Stern} and \textit{P. R. Wolenski}, J. Convex Anal. 2, No. 1-2, 117-144 (1995; Zbl 0881.49008)].
