Photochemical colour change for traditional watercolour pigments in low oxygen levels [PDF]
An investigation for light exposure on pigments in low-oxygen environments (in the range 0–5% oxygen) was conducted using a purpose-built automated microfadometer for a large sample set including multiple samples of traditional watercolour pigments from ...

Optimization of the diaminobenzidine substrate composition improves the performance of peroxidase-like Prussian Blue nanozymes in colorimetric assays [PDF]
One of the emerging trends in modern analytical and bioanalytical chemistry is the substitution of enzyme labels, such as horseradish peroxidase, with nanozymes — nanoparticles that possess enzyme-like catalytic activity.

Novel Electrochemical Lactate Biosensors Based on Prussian Blue Nanoparticles
We report on the novel electrochemical lactate biosensors based on Prussian blue nanoparticles. The immobilization of lactate oxidase was performed through drop-casting on the sensor surface of a mixture containing enzyme, (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane ...

Prussian Blue Analogues of Reduced Dimensionality [PDF]
AbstractMixed‐valence polycyanides (Prussian Blue analogues) possess a rich palette of properties spanning from room‐temperature ferromagnetism to zero thermal expansion, which can be tuned by chemical modifications or the application of external stimuli (temperature, pressure, light irradiation). While molecule‐based materials can combine physical and

Strategies for synthesis of Prussian blue analogues [PDF]
We report a comparison of different common synthetic strategies for preparation of Prussian blue analogues (PBA). PBA are promising as cathode material for a number of different battery types, including K-ion and Na-ion batteries with both aqueous and non-aqueous electrolytes. PBA exhibit a significant degree of structural variation.

Intrinsic Multienzyme-like Activities of the Nanoparticles of Mn and Fe Cyano-Bridged Assemblies
This study investigates the intrinsic multienzyme-like properties of the non-stabilized nanocrystalline nanoparticles of manganese-doped Prussian blue (Mn-PB) nanozymes and Prussian blue (PB) nanozymes in chemical and electrocatalytic transformations of ...

Blue in Eighteenth-Century England: Pigments and Usages
This paper seeks to explore the materiality of the colour blue in eighteenth-century England, with a focus on indigo and Prussian blue – pigments that dominated the eighteenth-century blue colourant market either qualitatively, quantitatively, or both ...
