Improvement of PS-InSAR atmospheric phase estimation by using WRF model

open access: yes2014 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2014
As a component of interferometric phase, atmospheric phase influences accuracy of millimetric land deformation measurement. Though Atmospheric Phase Screen (APS) can be estimated by Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PS-InSAR) technology, they are pseudo without consideration of actual atmospheric state and topography.

Land deformation monitoring in the Taiyuan area based on PS-InSAR

Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, 2022
Land subsidence problems have become increasingly prominent. Traditional monitoring methods, such as level measurements, have high costs and low efficiency. Permanent scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar (PS-InSAR) has several advantages for land subsidence monitoring based on technological innovations. Aimed at resolving the key problems

Multi-track PS-InSAR datum connection

2007 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2007
InSAR data acquired from independent overlapping tracks can be exploited for a reliability assessment of the Persistent Scatterer InSAR (PS-InSAR) technique. This is obtained by means of the datum connection of multiple tracks, simultaneously evaluating the misclosures between multi-track PS-InSAR estimates. Due to a different viewing geometry, many of

Mountain Topograhic Deformation Extracation Based on Ps-Insar

IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2018
The complex terrain, frequent movement of the earth's crust, dense vegetation exists in the western sichuan plateau where has frequent disasters. PSInSAR can extract the target with stable, strong scattering characteristics to monitor deformation effectively. The experimental area is in maoxian, erlang- mountain, chengdu.

Tomosar and PS-InSAR analysis of high-rise buildings in Berlin

2012 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2012
Using high-resolution SAR data stacks, a large amount of persistent scatterers (PS) can be found in urban areas, which are used for very detailed surface deformation monitoring. However, in dense urban areas, many of these points consist of more than one dominant scatterer in elevation direction.

Recursive data processing and data volume minimization for PS-InSAR

Proceedings. 2005 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2005. IGARSS '05., 2005
PS-InSAR has proven to be an accurate and ef- ficient technique for the joint estimation of topographic and displacement signal from stacked interferometric combinations. In this contribution a new method for PS-Insert processing is introduced, which enables the recursive estimation of parameters of interest.

Advanced PS-INSAR for Land Subsidence Monitoring in Cangzhou

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012
The conventional D-InSAR technique has been successfully applied in the volcano, earthquake induced surface deformation monitoring of large scale. However it is restricted by the loss of coherence and atmospheric delay effect. Advanced PS-INSAR as IPTA (Interferometric Point Target Analysis) technology was used to monitor urban area in Cangzhou city ...

Landslide monitoring by PS-InSAR along Qing river

2012 Second International Workshop on Earth Observation and Remote Sensing Applications, 2012
This paper used PS-InSAR method to monitor the landslide along Qing river. Several typical landslides area were selected as the experimental areas. 61 ASAR data have been processed, which were acquired from 2003 to 2010. The obtained preliminary deformation rate map not only included the experimental areas, but also showed several new landslides areas.

Study of urban instability phenomena in Bucharest city based on Ps-InSAR

2014 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2014
This work focuses on monitoring the ground motion and infrastructure stability in an urban environment, namely in the city of Bucharest. Bucharest is a fast developing city with the average construction rate of 8-20% new buildings with respect to the existing ones. Consequently, the civil engineering industry faced new challenges related to the need of
