Test and improvement of HEV control strategies using PSAT

2009 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference, 2009
An innovational propelling strategy and a shifting control strategy will be brought out; they are all designed based on basic concepts. EQ7200HEV is chosen as the object car; the vehicle and the two strategies are all modeled in PSAT and several simulations were running to test the strategies.

Experimental band monitor for PSAT satellite

Proceedings of 5th International Conference on Recent Advances in Space Technologies - RAST2011, 2011
During changing sun activity, the ionosphere is responding accordingly and therefore it is interesting to observe the propagation behavior of shortwave bands. For the above mentioned purpose we are designing a monitoring payload for an experimental cubesat satellite called PSAT. The payload consists of a receiver, which is able to receive SSB modulated

Developing and analysis of power systems using psat software

2008 IEEE 25th Convention of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Israel, 2008
The paper shows the use of Power System Analysis Toolbox (PSAT) in analysis of power system stability, in conditions of small and large disturbances. The system comprises 13 buses, 5 synchronous generators, 15 transmission lines and 9 load centers. The PSAT software runs under Matlab and Simulink environment which offer flexibility and ability of easy ...
