[DNA bacording of Verbenaceae medicinal plant by using ITS2 and psbA-trnH region].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2012To evaluate the ability of several hotspot candidate sequence of DNA barcodes for identifying medicinal plant species in Verbenaceae.Using universal primers, three chloroplast sequences, psbA-trnH, rbcL, matK, two nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS2 and ITS were amplified and sequenced.

Cytogenetic and ITS-psbA-trnH Sequence Analysis for Phylogenetic Inference in Mucuna sp. of India
Tropical Plant Biology, 2015This paper reports new chromosomal information and earliest proof on efficacy of nrITS and cp-psbA-trnH gene sequences for barcoding and phylogenetic studies in Mucuna sp. First cytological evidence on M. sempervirens and M. bracteata revealed symmetrical karyotype in both the species.

The taxonomic and phylogenetic relationships within the genus Artemisia s.l. (Asteraceae) are controversial, and it has been considered 1 to 8 different genera. This work re-investigated the phylogenetic relationships in Artemisia using nuclear ribosomal (ITS) and chloroplast psbA-trnH DNA sequences using three sections of Artemisia, Dracunculus, and ...

A 1887-nucleotide chloroplast-DNA region from Arabidopsis thaliana was analyzed. It contains the conserved genes psbA for the precursor of the D1 reaction-centre protein of photosystem II, trnH for tRNAHis, and rps19' for the 6.8-kDa protein of the small ribosomal subunit. Northern hybridization and RNase protection experiments suggest co-transcription

[Analysis and authentication of cpDNA psbA-trnH regions of Dendrobium species of fengdous].
Yao xue xue bao = Acta pharmaceutica Sinica, 2012The psbA-trnH regions of Dendrobium species of Fengdous were sequenced by our research group. The psbA-trnH sequences of fifteen Dendrobium species were analyzed with software MEGA 4.0. The results showed that the lengths of sequences varied from 721 to 767 bp. The variable sites were 42 while the informative sites were 11.

[Identification of Dioscorea nipponica and its sects based on psbA-trnH barcode].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2019A rapid and accurate method was established by psbA-trnH sequence to distinguish Dioscorea nipponica from other species belonging to the same genus. In this study, we collected 144 samples of D. nipponica from 17 different producing areas in China, the psbA-trnH sequenced of 23 nucleotide sequences were downloaded from GenBank, the sequences from ...

DNA barcoding is a novel technology that uses a standard DNA sequence to facilitate species identification. Although a consensus has not been reached regarding which DNA sequences can be used as the best plant barcodes, the psbA-trnH spacer region has been tested extensively in recent years.

Phylogenetic analyses of representative species from the five genera of Winteraceae (Drimys, Pseudowintera, Takhtajania, Tasmannia, and Zygogynum s.l.) were performed using ITS nuclear sequences and a combined data-set of ITS+psbA-trnH+rpS16 sequences (sampling of 30 and 15 species, respectively).
