Counter examples for pseudo-amenability of some semigroup algebras

open access: yesAnnales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis: Studia Mathematica, 2020
In this short note, we give some counter examples which show that [11, Proposition 3.5] is not true. As a consequence, the arguments in [11, Proposition 4.10] is not valid.

Almost Periodic (Type) Solutions to Parabolic Cauchy Inverse Problems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We first show the existence and uniqueness of (pseudo) almost periodic solutions of some types of parabolic equations. Then, we apply the results to a type of Cauchy parabolic inverse problems and show the existence, uniqueness, and stability.

Collision-free trajectory planning algorthm for manipulators [PDF]

open access: yes
Collision-free trajectory planning for robotic manipulators is investigated. The task of the manipulator is to move its end-effector from one point to another point in an environment with polyhedral obstacles.

Design and Optimization of Full‐Stokes Hyperspectro‐Polarimetric Encoding Metasurfaces Based on Conditional Multi‐Task Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conditional multi‐task deep learning framework is developed for designing and optimizing Full‐Stokes Hyperspectro‐Polarimetric Encoding Metasurfaces (FHPEMs). This framework achieves joint spectro‐polarimetric learning and unified forward–inverse design.

Additive and Partially Dominant Effects from Genomic Variation Contribute to Rice Heterosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Additive and partially dominant effects, namely at mid‐parent levels or values between mid‐parent and parental levels, respectively, are the predominant inheritance patterns of heterosis‐associated molecules. These two genetic effects contribute to heterosis of agronomic traits in both rice and maize, as well as biomass heterosis in Arabidopsis ...

Induction Motor Speed Control Based on Inverse System Theory and Sliding Mode Method

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2012
For the problem that parameter uncertainty was usually neglected when inverse system theory was used in speed regulation system of induction motor, on the basis of non-linear model of induction motor, a pseudo-linear control system model of induction ...

A Soft Matrix Microenvironment Promotes Laterally Spreading Tumors via Oxidative Phosphorylation‐Dependent Cell Adhesion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Laterally spreading tumors (LSTs) are precancerous colorectal lesions characterized by a flat morphology. This study reveals a mechanochemical pathway through which a soft matrix microenvironment diminishes spatial constraints in intestinal adenomas. This process promotes deficiencies in tight junction proteins, mediated by the mechanoreceptor ADORA2B ...

A Numerical Stability Analysis in the Inclusion of an Inverse Term in the Design of Experiments for Mixtures

open access: yesMathematics
A mixture experiment is one where the response depends only on the relative proportions of the ingredients present in the mixture. Different regression models are used to analyze mixture experiments, such as the Scheffé model, the Slack Variable model ...

On the Ordering Mechanism of Cu+ in 2D van der Waals Multiferroic CuCrP2S6

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Temperature‐dependent X‐ray single‐crystal diffuse scattering measurements of CuCrP2S6 in the (H, K, 0) plane reveal the gradual emergence and strengthening of short‐range order upon cooling from 230 to 170 K. At intermediate temperatures, diffuse features become pronounced and eventually lock into sharp incommensurate satellite reflections, indicating

All‐in‐One Underwater Quality Evaluation Metamaterial With Mechanical Robustness, Sound Attenuation, and Diffuse Reflection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, a bioinspired all‐in‐one underwater quality evaluation metamaterial, combining sound attenuation, diffuse reflection, and mechanical robustness, is proposed based on jumping spider locomotion and human skeletal biomechanics. Meanwhile, a CNN‑driven quality evaluation framework is established for theoretically dimension‐reduced ...
