Estimating individual vulnerability to poverty with pseudo-panel data [PDF]
This paper presents an original method to study individual earning dynamics using repeated cross-sectional data. Because panel data of individuals are seldom available in developing countries, it is difficult to study individual earning dynamics and related issues such as the propensity of earners to fall into poverty or vulnerability to poverty ...

Arterial Spin‐Labeling MRI at the Cortical‐CSF Interface: A Novel Biomarker in Alzheimer Disease
ABSTRACT Background/Objective Arterial spin‐labeling (ASL) MRI can measure perfusion signal adjacent to CSF spaces and may provide information regarding CSF‐adjacent water transport physiology. We developed an automated pipeline to extract cortical‐CSF interface (IF) perfusion for comparison between Alzheimer disease (AD) and cognitively normal ...

Introducing Super Pseudo Panels: Application to Transport Preference Dynamics
We propose a new approach for constructing synthetic pseudo-panel data from cross-sectional data. The pseudo panel and the preferences it intends to describe is constructed at the individual level and is not affected by aggregation bias across cohorts. This is accomplished by creating a high-dimensional probabilistic model representation of the entire ...

Correlated Metal LaNiO3 as a p‐Type Transparent Conductor
p‐type transparent conducting oxides are needed to enable superstrate solar cell geometries with n‐type absorbers. The p‐type correlated metal LaNiO3 combines high optical transmission with low electrical resistivity and is compatible with a range of scalable deposition processes.
