Adsorption of hard spheres: structure and effective density according to the potential distribution theorem

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2011
We propose a new type of effective densities via the potential distribution theorem. These densities are for the sake of enabling the mapping of the free energy of a uniform fluid onto that of a nonuniform fluid.

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Homology 3-Spheres [PDF]

open access: yes
Let R be a commutative ring with an identity element. By an R-homology 3-sphere we will mean a closed oriented 3-manifold M such that H* (M, R) = H*(S3, R).

Translation to Bundle Operators

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2007
We give explicit formulas for conformally invariant operators with leading term an $m$-th power of Laplacian on the product of spheres with the natural pseudo-Riemannian product metric for all $m$.

Classification of surfaces in a pseudo‐sphere with 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, 2017
AbstractIn this article, we study submanifolds in a pseudo‐sphere with 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map. We give a characterization theorem for Lorentzian surfaces in the pseudo‐sphere with zero mean curvature vector in and 2‐type pseudo‐spherical Gauss map.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

Investigation on the copper ion removal potential of a facile-fabricated foamed geopolymer sphere for wastewater remediation

open access: yesCleaner Materials, 2022
Heavy metal contamination is regarded as one of the most serious hazards to the environment and living organism. The scenario is exacerbating especially due to the continuous development.

Clinical Impact of NOTCH3 Variant Location After First Stroke in CADASIL

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Despite its monogenic origin, Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy exhibits marked variability in clinical expression and severity. Variants in the NOTCH3 gene, within epidermal growth factor‐like repeat domains 1–6 or 7–34, are known to influence disease onset, but their impact ...
