Adsorption kinetic modeling using pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order rate laws: A review
Adsorption for water and wastewater treatment has been the subject of many research in the scientific community, focusing mainly on either equilibrium or kinetic studies. Adsorption kinetics are commonly modeled using pseudo-first and pseudo-second order

Abstract The experimental adsorption equilibrium of Cd(II) onto chitosan (Cd(II)/CS) and methyl orange onto bentonite (MO/Bt) were studied in batch adsorption experiments at room temperature for an initial concentration of 236.5 mg/L for Cd (II) (pH = 5) and 33 mg/L for MO (pH = 3).

On the comparison of pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order rate laws in the modeling of adsorption kinetics [PDF]
In most works in the current literature about liquid/solid adsorption kinetics, the respective abilities of pseudo-first order and pseudo-second kinetics for describing the data are compared. In nearly all cases, it is concluded that the latter surpasses the former.

Pseudo-almost periodic solutions for first-order neutral differential equations [PDF]
In this paper, we study a class of first-order neutral differential equations with time-varying delays and coefficients. Employing the fixed point method and differential inequality techniques, easily verifiable delay-independent criteria are established

Effect of pretreatment with pentanol for dyeing wool fibers at low temperature [PDF]
This paper describes the influence of pre-treatment with pentanol for the dyeing of wool fibers at low temperatures. Wool fiber is expensive to produce and process; accordingly, it must be economically viable and meet consumer demands. Acid dyes

Adsorption of Cu (II) and Ni (II) Ions from Solution onto Calcium Alginate Beads
The objective of this study was to investigate the biosorption of Cu (II) and Ni (II) ions from aqueous solution by calcium alginate beads. The effects of solution pH, contact time and initial metal ion concentration were evaluated.
