Solving First Order Formulae of Pseudo-Regular Theory
2005In this paper, we study the class of pseudo-regular relations which is an extension of regular relations that weakens some restrictions on the ”synchronization” between tuple components of the relation. We choose logic programming as formalism to describe tree tuple languages (i.e.

First-order pseudo dead-beat current controller for buck converter
INTELEC 2009 - 31st International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 2009Analysis and current control using pseudo deadbeat controller (PDC) for the buck dc-dc converter is proposed in this paper. The conventional deadbeat current controller, reported in the literature, exhibit sub-harmonic oscillations and it may lead to instability in the event of parameter changes.

Pseudo-first-order phase transitions in one dimension
Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1979A study is made of the one-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau system with a cubic term, a model of the first-order phase transition. Fluctuations are taken into account by means of the WKB method. It is pointed out that the transition is of continuous type for any value of the coefficient of the cubic term.

The study of bimolecular reactions under non-pseudo-first order conditions
Biophysical Chemistry, 2005In this work a new equation which describes the time evolution of bimolecular reactions is derived and tested by experiment. The equation is general and the results show that second-order reactions of any simple type may be accurately described by a quotient of exponential functions. The model and reagent concentration dependent observed rate constants

A pseudo first-order-second-order kinetics experiment: An illustration of the Guggenheim method
Journal of Chemical Education, 1964The rate of one of the typical reactions of the aromatic nitroso group is determined spectrophotometrically employing the Guggenheim method.

Simulation of 1,3-dichloropropene in topsoil with pseudo first-order kinetics
Journal of Contaminant Hydrology, 1995Abstract For fast-degraded chemicals such as 1,3-dichloropropane (1,3-D), their long persistent time in topsoils cannot be explained by the ordinary first-order kinetics of biodegradation that is commonly used in the simulation of chemical transport in soils.

A continuous spectrophotometric procedure is presented for the measurement of the kinetic properties of acetylcholinesterase (EC 3.1.1.7) with its natural substrate, acetylcholine. The procedure is based upon the production of stoichiometric quantities of H+ upon hydrolysis of substrate.
