Integrated dielectric spectrometer for wideband and highspeed measurements using pseudo-noise codes

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2013
The paper gives a short introduction into some system-theoretic aspects and features of dielectric measurements by periodic wideband signals. Based on these considerations, a related measurement concept will be presented which is well suited for both compact device implementation and monolithic integration.

Neuromorphic Devices and Computing for Sensing, Memory, and Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review introduces neuromorphic devices made from diverse materials. These devices mimic neuronal functions and architectures and, when integrated with artificial or biological computing, can form closed loops with neurons for pressure, optical, acoustic, and biochemical sensing and modulation.

Characterization of GNSS Signals Tracked by the iGMAS Network Considering Recent BDS-3 Satellites

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2018
The international GNSS monitoring and assessment system (iGMAS) tracking network has been established by China to track multi-GNSS satellites. A key feature of iGMAS stations is the capability to fully track new navigation signals from the recently ...

Pseudo-code of the main simulation loop.

open access: yes
This script in pseudo-code: 1) runs an iteration of the particle-based simulation, 2) updates the copy number of R based on the current MCell4 state, and 3) updates the rate of reaction A -> AR that was originally a bimolecular reaction A + R -> AR. N is

Dual‐line Genome‐scale CRISPR Screening Enables Robust Target Gene Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A species‐optimized CRISPR platform integrates efficient piggyBac delivery, genome‐scale sgRNA libraries, and parallel screening in two independently engineered Bactrocera dorsalis Cas9 cell lines. Cross‐line consensus analysis filters line‐specific effects, enriches candidates with reproducible in vivo phenotypes, and reveals conserved, species ...

Adaptive DSSS PN Code Tracking Loop Based on Fuzzy Logic Control Technology

open access: yesIEEE Access
In Lunar-Earth telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) scenarios characterized with high dynamics and extremely low carrier-to-noise ratios (CNR), direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) pseudo-noise (PN) code tracking loops employ traditional ...

Learning Work Function via Implicit Reasoning on Electrostatic Potential Landscapes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
StructPot‐CLR establishes a cross‐modal contrastive learning framework that aligns the crystal structures of 2D materials with plane‐averaged electrostatic potential landscapes for physically informed work‐function prediction. The model achieves an MAE of 0.265 eV and an R2 of 0.902 on the held‐out test set while accurately preserving key morphological

Keystone Transform-Based Parameter Search for Wide-Band Hybrid DS/FH Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
High dynamics for wide-band hybrid direct sequence/frequency hopping (DS/FH) systems may cause Doppler frequency dispersion (DFD). Existing parameter-search schemes use a serial mode to avoid high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss caused by DFD, however ...

Switching Spike Plasticity Shapes ACE2 Engagement Across SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.
