Pseudocapacitance-based charge increase in MoS2/C
The electrochemical behavior of MoS2/C composite in aqueous electrolytes was investigated using a three-electrode electrochemical cell. It was established that the studied system demonstrates the reversibility of redox processes, indicating the ...

Unlocking Novel Functionality: Pseudocapacitive Sensing in MXene-Based Flexible Supercapacitors
Highlights We have discovered a novel phenomenon where the pseudocapacitance of flexible MXene supercapacitors changes sensitively in response to bending, leading to the development of Pseudocapacitive Sensors.

Ru‐doping‐induced defect engineering enables freestanding Ru–MoO3‐x flexible films with enriched oxygen vacancies, modulated band structure, and enhanced charge transport. The optimized electrode delivers ultrahigh capacitance approaching the theoretical limit of MoO3, while assembled asymmetric supercapacitors exhibit high energy density, wide‐voltage

B, N Dual Doped Coral-Like Carbon Framework With Superior Pseudocapacitance and Surface Wettability
Carbon-based materials are usually considered as conventional electrode materials for supercapacitors (SCs), therefore it is meaningful to enhance supercapacitive capacity and cycling stability via rational surface structure design of carbon-based ...

An ultrafast (2‐minute), gas‐free chemical pre‐sodiation strategy using Na‐benzophenone is developed to compensate for initial sodium loss in calcium vanadate (CaV8O20). Driven by the Ca2+ ‘spectator effect’, the framework enables highly reversible, quasi‐zero‐strain solid‐solution sodium storage, explicitly bypassing destructive conversion reactions ...
