Superelasticity in micro/nanostructured materials

open access: yesNPG Asia Materials
Achieving reversible strain greater than 1%, known as superelasticity, is highly desirable for practical applications across diverse fields, including medical care, transportation, and daily life.

Technological peculiarities of micromilling texturing of NiTi alloy surfaces

open access: yesТехнічна інженерія
NiTi alloys are characterized by shape memory effect, pseudoelasticity, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility, which determines their wide application in medicine, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, and many other industries.

THE THERMAL EFFECT IN PSEUDOELASTIC ALLOYS

open access: yesLe Journal de Physique Colloques, 1982
Temperature pulses of up to 15°C have been observed in single crystals of pseudoelastic alloys and are associated with the formation of stress-induced martensite. Detailed shapes of the temperature pulses are presented for three types of transformation : β1-β'1 CuAlNi, β'2-β'2 CuZnSn and β1-γ'1 CuAlNi.

The effect of temperature on low-cycle fatigue of shape memory alloy

open access: yesFracture and Structural Integrity, 2019
The influence of temperature on the fatigue properties of pseudoelastic NiTi under low-cycle fatigue are investigated. Tests were performed under the uniaxial tensile deformation (pull-pull) at 0°С and 20°С which is above the austenite finish temperature.
