The Optical Polaron Effect on the Coherent Time of a qubit in the RbCl Quantum Dot with Two-Dimensional Pseudoharmonic Potential

Iranian Journal of Science and Technology, Transaction A: Science, 2020
The effects of optical polarons on qubit coherence times in a RbCl quantum dot (QD) under a pseudoharmonic potential (PHP) are theoretically investigated using Fermi’s Golden Rule and Pekar type variational method (PTVM). From this, coherence time variations are analytically driven as a function of the chemical potential (CP) of two-dimensional ...

A theoretical study of nonlinear optical absorption and refractive index changes with the three-dimensional ring-shaped pseudoharmonic potential

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2013
Abstract Linear and nonlinear optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes with the three-dimensional ring-shaped pseudoharmonic potential are theoretically investigated. The wave functions and the energy levels are obtained by using separation of variables. It is found that the optical absorption coefficients and the refractive index

Path-integral solution for pseudoharmonic potential

Physical Review A, 1988
We obtained the path-integral solution of a three-dimensional pseudoharmonic potential by applying a suitably chosen point canonical transformation.

Comment on ‘Analytic solutions for vibrational energy levels of the pseudoharmonic potential’

Physica Scripta, 2021
Abstract We argue that the pseudoharmonic potential provides an unsuitable description of the interatomic potential-energy function of a diatomic molecule because of its wrong behaviour at origin and infinity and because it does not predict dissociation.

Analytic solutions for vibrational energy levels of the pseudoharmonic potential

Physica Scripta, 2020
Abstract The non-relativistic analytic solutions of a quantum mechanical system have been calculated for the case of pseudoharmonic potential by using the Whittaker functions approach. A diatomic quantum system is placed in a Pseudoharmonic potential and perturbed by an external magnetic field. The resulting Schrodinger’s equation has

Supersymmetric study of the pseudospin symmetry limit of the Dirac equation for a pseudoharmonic potential

Physica Scripta, 2011
We exactly determine the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the Dirac equation in the presence of a pseudoharmonic potential for the pseudospin symmetry that is known to have wide applications in the field of theoretical nuclear physics. We see that the problem is simply solved using the methodology of supersymmetric quantum mechanics.

EXACTLY COMPLETE SOLUTIONS OF THE DIRAC EQUATION WITH PSEUDOHARMONIC POTENTIAL INCLUDING LINEAR PLUS COULOMB-LIKE TENSOR POTENTIAL

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2011
In this paper, we present exact solutions of the Dirac equation with the pseudoharmonic potential including linear as well as Coulomb-like tensor potential with arbitrary spin–orbit coupling number κ under spin and pseudospin symmetry limits. The Nikiforov–Uvarov method is used to obtain energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions in closed ...

Bound states of the Klein–Gordon and Dirac equation for scalar and vector pseudoharmonic oscillator potentials

Chinese Physics, 2004
The exact bound state solutions of the Klein–Gordon equation and Dirac equation with scalar and vector pseudoharmonic oscillator potentials are obtained in this paper. Furthermore, we have used the supersymmetric quantum mechanics, shape invariance and alternative method to obtain the required results.

Generalized quantum similarity index: An application to pseudoharmonic oscillator with isospectral potentials in 3D

International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 2020
AbstractExact solutions of a pseudoharmonic oscillator and a family of isospectral potentials are investigated in spherical coordinates. The entropic moment, generalized quantum similarity index, and some quantum information measures are investigated analytically and numerically for two density functions of two quantum systems with same energy and one ...
