Model‐Free Robust Backstepping Adaptive Cruise Control
This paper studies the model‐free robust adaptive cruise control problem of a vehicle with unknown nonlinear dynamics and disturbances. First, under backstepping control framework, the position tracking errors with different spacing strategies are used to design a virtual control law, which provides a velocity reference.

Data‐driven model‐free adaptive attitude control for morphing vehicles
Abstract This paper investigates the attitude control problem of the morphing vehicle subject to great dynamics changes and disturbances during the morphing phase. An improved model‐free adaptive control (MFAC) method is proposed based on the compact format dynamic linearization technique.

Model‐Free Adaptive Control for Tank Truck Rollover Stabilization
Influenced by lateral liquid sloshing in partially filled tanks, tank vehicles are apt to encounter with rollover accidents. Due to its strong nonlinearity and loading state uncertainty, it has great challenges in tank vehicle active control. Based on the model‐free adaptive control (MFAC) theory, the roll stability control problem of tank trucks with ...

A new model‐free adaptive robust control method has been proposed for the robotic exoskeleton, and the proposed control scheme depends only on the input and output data, which is different from model‐based control algorithms that require exact dynamic model knowledge of the robotic exoskeleton.

An Efficient Estimation of the Mean Residual Life Function with Length‐Biased Right‐Censored Data
The mean residual life (MRL) function for a lifetime random variable T0 is one of the basic parameters of interest in survival analysis. In this paper, we propose a new estimator of the MRL function with length‐biased right‐censored data and evaluate its performance through a small Monte Carlo simulation study.

Model‐Free Adaptive Control Algorithm with Data Dropout Compensation
The convergence of model‐free adaptive control (MFAC) algorithm can be guaranteed when the system is subject to measurement data dropout. The system output convergent speed gets slower as dropout rate increases. This paper proposes a MFAC algorithm with data compensation. The missing data is first estimated using the dynamical linearization method, and
