Tensor Condensate Accompanied by Chiral Transition in a Strong Magnetic Field

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We investigate tensor condensates and chiral condensates in the (2 + 1)‐flavor Nambu–Jona–Lasinio model at finite temperature and density in the presence of a strong magnetic field. The emergence of the tensor condensate is attributed to the four‐fermion interaction.

Combined search for anomalous pseudoscalar HVV couplings in VH(H→bb‾) production and H→VV decay

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
A search for anomalous pseudoscalar couplings of the Higgs boson H to electroweak vector bosons V (=W or Z) in a sample of proton–proton collision events corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 18.9 fb−1 at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV is ...

Distinguishing scalar from pseudoscalar Higgs production at the LHC

open access: yes, 2002
In this letter we examine the production channels for the scalar or pseudoscalar Higgs plus two jets at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We identify possible signals for distinguishing between a scalar and a pseudoscalar Higgs boson.Comment: 7 pages,

Universal properties of pseudoscalar mediators in dark matter extensions of 2HDMs

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
A bstractWe discuss universal signals of consistent models of pseudoscalar mediators for collider searches for Dark Matter. Keeping only the degrees of freedom that can not be decoupled due to consistency conditions, we present a universality class of ...

A pseudoscalar decaying to photon pairs in the early LHC Run 2 data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A bstractIn this paper we explore the possibility of a pseudoscalar resonance to account for the 750 GeV diphoton excess observed both at ATLAS and at CMS.

Pseudoscalar Field as a Possible Candidate for Phantom Field

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We demonstrate the existence of a single pseudoscalar (PS) field in the mathematically backed and parity‐preserving modifications of the standard Stückelberg formalism (SSF) in the context of the Lagrangian formulation of the (i) two (1 + 1)‐dimensional (2D) massive Abelian 1‐form gauge theory, (ii) three (2 + 1)‐dimensional (3D) massive Abelian 2‐form

One-loop pseudoscalar mass in a 2HDM with a Z 3 symmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A two-Higgs doublet model with a discrete Z 3 symmetry acquires, in its scalar and gauge sectors, an accidental continuous U(1) symmetry. One therefore finds, after spontaneous symmetry breaking of those symmetries, that a massless pseudoscalar arises ...

Pseudoscalar Portal Dark Matter and New Signatures of Vector-like Fermions

open access: yes, 2016
Fermionic dark matter interacting with the Standard Model sector through a pseudoscalar portal could evade the direct detection constraints while preserving a WIMP miracle.

Possible explanation of the electron positron anomaly at 17 MeV in 8Be transitions through a light pseudoscalar [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A bstractWe estimate the values of Yukawa couplings of a light pseudoscalar A with a mass of about 17 MeV, which would explain the 8Be anomaly observed in the Atomki pair spectrometer experiment.

Modified 3D Massive Abelian 2‐Form Theory With a Single Pseudoscalar Field as a Phantom Field: BRST Approach

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We obtain the off‐shell nilpotent Becchi–Rouet–Stora–Tyutin (BRST) and anti‐BRST symmetry transformations (corresponding to the infinitesimal classical gauge symmetry transformations) for the modified massive three (2 + 1)‐dimensional (3D) Abelian two‐form gauge theory with a single pseudoscalar field. The latter field (having the negative kinetic term
