Excited scalar and pseudoscalar mesons in the extended linear sigma model

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We present an in-depth study of masses and decays of excited scalar and pseudoscalar $${\bar{q}}q$$ q ¯ q states in the Extended Linear Sigma Model (eLSM). The model also contains ground-state scalar, pseudoscalar, vector and axial-vector mesons.

Mixed scalar-pseudoscalar Higgs boson production through next-to-next-to-leading order at the LHC

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We study the production of a mixed scalar-pseudoscalar Higgs boson in gluon fusion at the LHC, through next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD. We obtain fully differential results, including the decay of the Higgs boson to two charged lepton pairs ...

Axion‐Like Interactions and CFT in Topological Matter, Anomaly Sum Rules and the Faraday Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2025.
This review investigates the connection between chiral anomalies and their manifestation in topological materials, using both perturbative methods based on ordinary quantum field theory and conformal field theory (CFT). It emphasizes the role of CFT in momentum space for parity‐odd correlation functions, and their reconstruction by the inclusion of a ...

Notes on Parameterized Energy Pathways in the Ocean: Insights From Stochastic and Deterministic Kinetic Energy Injection

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, Volume 17, Issue 5, May 2025.
Abstract Accurately representing ocean dynamics across interacting scales remains a challenge in numerical modeling. This study examines mesoscale eddy parameterization in eddy‐permitting ocean models by incorporating novel stochastic perturbations and comparing them with a well‐tested dynamic kinetic energy backscatter scheme.

Trace and Axial Anomalies on Equal Footing

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2020
We discussed that for some particular nonsupersymmetric theories, a generalized symmetry that includes both the scale and axial transformations and leads to a single current may contain also a pseudoscalar term. The method, inspired by the superconformal

Exploring solutions to the muon g-2 anomaly in a 3-3-1 model under flavor constraints

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
The magnetic moment of the muon can receive significant two-loop contributions from a light pseudoscalar. Notably, the spectrum of scalars of 3-3-1 models includes one pseudoscalar.

The decays of $$\bar{B}^0$$ B¯0 , $$\bar{B}^0_s$$ B¯s0 and $$B^-$$ B- into $$\eta _c$$ ηc plus a scalar or vector meson

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
We investigate the decays of $$\bar{B}^0_s$$ B¯s0 , $$\bar{B}^0$$ B¯0 and $$B^-$$ B- into $$\eta _c$$ ηc plus a scalar or vector meson in a theoretical framework by taking into account the dominant process for the weak decay of $$\bar{B}$$ B¯ meson into $

Mixings of a pseudoscalar glueball

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1990
Abstract We investigate η−η′−ι(1440)−η c mixing by introducing a glueball into a previously proposed qq meson mixing scheme. The model predicts various exclusive decay widths in good agreement with current experimental data and requires the ι to be a fairly pure glueball. The mass of the unmixed glueball turns out to be 1.37 GeV.

Scalar-tensor gravity with pseudoscalar couplings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
I examine the observational effects of a light scalar field with a scalar coupling to masses and a pseudoscalar coupling to light and particle spins. The pseudoscalar coupling to light induces a coupling to atomic spins both by inducing a coupling to ...

On decays of light unflavoured pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The ongoing and planned experimental activities with direct reference to light unflavoured pseudoscalar mesons motivate a new theoretical study regarding their properties.
