Low energy pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar interactions in the nonrelativistic quark model
AIP Conference Proceedings, 1991We give a brief introduction to the nonrelativistic quark model and then present results from a coupled‐channel quark model analysis of light‐quark S‐wave pseudoscalar‐pseudoscalar scattering and production processes. Annihilation mixing to s‐channel qq scalar resonances and quark exchange interactions are found to be important.

Scalar and pseudoscalar charges
American Journal of Physics, 1976The interaction of a ’’scalar’’ charge es (even under T) and a ’’pseudoscalar’’ charge ep (odd under T) is investigated in the framework of classical mechanics. We show that the most general force consistent with the conservation of linear momentum and angular momentum is F=esep(r×v)/cr3, where c is a constant.

Duality and the pseudoscalar mesons
Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1976The Lovelace-Veneziano model for the pseudoscalar-meson process PP → PP is considered with particular attention to the problematical requirement of ideal mixing for the pseudoscalar nonet. A solution to the problem which retains the narrow-resonance approximation for this process is found.

It is shown that a true pseudoscalar charge density—a ψ*ψ which has opposite signs in two regions—can exist. This fact is accomplished by allowing a parity transformation, for which p*p = −1, and by making the operation of hermitian adjoint differ by a minus sign in the two regions.
