Abstract Accurately representing ocean dynamics across interacting scales remains a challenge in numerical modeling. This study examines mesoscale eddy parameterization in eddy‐permitting ocean models by incorporating novel stochastic perturbations and comparing them with a well‐tested dynamic kinetic energy backscatter scheme.

Exploring Dark Photon Production and Kinetic Mixing Constraints in Heavy‐Ion Collisions
ABSTRACT Vector U‐bosons, often referred to as “dark photons,” are potential candidates for mediating dark matter interactions. In this study, we outline a procedure to derive theoretical constraints on the upper bound of the kinetic mixing parameter ϵ2MU$$ {\upvarepsilon}^2\left({M}_U\right) $$ using dilepton data from heavy‐ion from SIS to RHIC ...

QUARK STRUCTURE OF PSEUDOSCALAR MESONS [PDF]
I review to which extent the properties of pseudoscalar mesons can be understood in terms of the underlying quark (and eventually gluon) structure. Special emphasis is put on the progress in our understanding of η–η′ mixing. Process-independent mixing parameters are defined, and relations between different bases and conventions are studied.

Nonlinear Vortex Dichroism in Chiral Molecules
Chiral molecules are shown to absorb two photons from a linearly polarized Laguerre–Gaussian vortex beams at different rates depending on the sign and magnitude of orbital angular momentum: nonlinear vortex dichroism. This new form of nonlinear optical activity is shown to have many remarkable properties, including novel access to structural ...

Study of Semileptonic B⟶DPℓ+νℓ Decays Based on the SU(3) Flavor Symmetry
Decays B⟶DPℓ+νℓ(ℓ = e, μ, τ) with the nonresonance, the charmed vector resonances, the charmed scalar resonances, and the charmed tensor resonances are explored by using the SU(3) flavor symmetry approach. Firstly, the decay amplitudes of different modes are related by the SU(3) flavor symmetry.

Combined search for anomalous pseudoscalar HVV couplings in VH(H→bb‾) production and H→VV decay
A search for anomalous pseudoscalar couplings of the Higgs boson H to electroweak vector bosons V (=W or Z) in a sample of proton–proton collision events corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 18.9 fb−1 at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV is ...

Tensor Condensate Accompanied by Chiral Transition in a Strong Magnetic Field
We investigate tensor condensates and chiral condensates in the (2 + 1)‐flavor Nambu–Jona–Lasinio model at finite temperature and density in the presence of a strong magnetic field. The emergence of the tensor condensate is attributed to the four‐fermion interaction.

One-loop pseudoscalar mass in a 2HDM with a Z 3 symmetry
A two-Higgs doublet model with a discrete Z 3 symmetry acquires, in its scalar and gauge sectors, an accidental continuous U(1) symmetry. One therefore finds, after spontaneous symmetry breaking of those symmetries, that a massless pseudoscalar arises ...

Distinguishing scalar from pseudoscalar Higgs production at the LHC
In this letter we examine the production channels for the scalar or pseudoscalar Higgs plus two jets at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We identify possible signals for distinguishing between a scalar and a pseudoscalar Higgs boson.Comment: 7 pages,
