Tumor necrosis factor eliciting fractions separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla
International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1994Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) could be induced in the serum of ICR mice bearing Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) cells by the i.v. administration of antitumor fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B, PH-I C, PH-I Ca, PH-I Cb) separated from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

Cyclopeptides from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Phytochemistry, 1993Abstract From the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla two new cyclopeptides, heterophyllin A and B have been isolated. Their structures were established by chemical, spectral and enzymatic methods.

Mitogenic and tumor necrosis factor producing activities of Pseudostellaria heterophylla
International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1992Separation of mitogenic fraction (PH-I) from Pseudostellaria heterophylla and characterization of its biological activities were investigated. PH-I was isolated as an alcohol-insoluble fraction from the hot water extract obtained by heating the roots of P. heterophylla in water at 80 degrees C for 4 h.

Quality evaluation and growing regionalization of Pseudostellaria heterophylla in Guizhou
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2016This paper is aimed to study the potential ecological suitability regionalization of Pseudostellaria heterophylla for selecting GAP planting base location and designing rational production layout. The ecological factors and contribution rate were determined by using maximum entropy (Maxent) model.

[Common diseases and drug use of Pseudostellaria heterophylla].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2023Pseudostellaria heterophylla in large-scale cultivation needs to apply pesticides to control diseases, and non-standard use of pesticide may cause excessive pesticide residues in medicinal materials, increasing the risk of clinical medication. To accurately monitor the residual pesticides, this paper investigated the drug use during the process of P ...

The immunostimulating activities of anti-tumor Polysaccharides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Immunopharmacology, 1994We have previously shown that a mitogenic fraction (PH-I) separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla exhibits both immunomodulatory and anti-tumor activities. In the present study, PH-I was further purified by gel filtration chromatography and the resulting three fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B and PH-I C) were assessed for their anti-tumor activity in vivo.

Pseudostellarins D - F, new tyrosinase inhibitory cyclic peptides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Tetrahedron, 1994Abstract New potent tyrosinase inhibitory cyclic peptides, pseudostellarins D - F, have been isolated from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla and the structures were elucidated by extensive 2D NMR methods, chemical and enzymatic degradation and ESI tandem MS spectroscopic analysis.

Pollen morphology of Chinese Pseudostellaria (Caryophyllaceae) and its systematic significance
Microscopy Research and Technique, 2020AbstractUsing light and scanning electron microscopy, we studied the pollen morphology of six species (one of which are endemic) of Chinese Pseudostellaria. All species were studied for the first time. Results of this study indicated that pollen grains of Pseudostellaria are spheroidal or spheroidal‐polyhedral in shape and small or medium in size and ...

[Rapid molecular identification of pseudostellariae radix].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2015To establish a convenient and rapid method for identification of Pseudostellariae Radix by molecular identification, the rDNA-ITS sequences of Pseudostella riaheterophylla and its adulterants had been aligned to find out specific fragment. The specific primers against the fragment were designed and the PCR amplification conditions were optimized.
