A new cyclic peptide from the fibrous root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Natural Product Research, 2020A new cyclic peptide, Pseudostellarin K (1), together with thirteen known compounds, including two cyclic peptides (2 and 3), one β-carboline alkaloid (4), two amides (5 and 6), three phenylpropanoids (7-9) and other compounds (10-14), were isolated from the fibrous root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

Cloning and analyzing a squalene synthase gene in Pseudostellaria heterophylla
Gene Reports, 2018Abstract Triterpene saponins are primary bioactive compounds in the tuberous roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla, which is one of well-known traditional Chinese medicines. Squalene synthase (SQS) is the key speed-limiting enzyme of saponin biosynthesis pathway. Here, we cloned and analyzed a SQS gene in P. heterophylla.

Maxent model was applied in the study to filtering the climate factors layer by layer. Polysaccharides and pseudostellarin B the two internal quality evaluation index were combined to analyse the interlinkages between climate factors and chemical constituents in order to search for the critical climate factors of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

[A research on fast-propagation of Pseudostellaria heterophylla].
Zhong yao cai = Zhongyaocai = Journal of Chinese medicinal materials, 2003The result of fast-propagation of Pseudostellaria heterophylla by tissue culture showed that the best explant was stem tip. It also showed the suitable inducement mediums were MS + 6-BA 2.0 mg/L + NAA 0.2 mg/L or MS + 6-BA 4.0 mg/L + NAA 0.4 mg/L for the clustered bud, MS + 2,4-D 4.0 mg/L + Kt 0.5 mg/L or MS + 2,4-D 3.0 mg/L + Kt 0.5 mg/L for the ...

Seed dormancy mechanisms of Pseudostellaria heterophylla and its germination characteristics
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2012Objective Seed dormancy mechanisms, breaking dormancy and the optimal germinating conditions were studied to improve reproductive efficiency and quality standard of Pseudostellaria heterophylla. Method The P. heterophylla seeds were stratified into wettish sand for 65 days under the temperature of -2-3 degrees C, embryo length and germination ...

Tumor necrosis factor eliciting fractions separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla
International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1994Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) could be induced in the serum of ICR mice bearing Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) cells by the i.v. administration of antitumor fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B, PH-I C, PH-I Ca, PH-I Cb) separated from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

We have previously shown that a mitogenic fraction (PH-I) separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla (P. heterophylla) could act as a priming agent for the release of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) in mice. In the present study, PH-I was further purified by gel filtration chromatography and the resulting three fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B and PH-

[Chemical constituents from roots Pseudostellaria heterophylla].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2008To study the chemical constituents of Pseudostellaria heterophylla. The compounds were isolated by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography and purified by recrystallization. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral analysis.Seven compounds were identified as 2-minalin (1) , 3-furfuryl pyrrole-2-

Cyclopeptides and Amides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Caryophyllaceae)
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 2003AbstractFrom the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla, three cyclopeptides and three amides were isolated, besides heterophyllin A and B. Their structures were determined as cyclo (Ala‐Gly‐Pro‐Val‐Tyr‐) (heterophyllin J; 1), cyclo (Ala‐Gly‐Pro‐Tyr‐Leu‐) (pseudostellarin A; 2), cyclo (Gly‐Gly‐Gly‐Pro‐Pro‐Phe‐Gly‐Ile‐) (pseudostellarin B; 3), methyl γ ...
