Environmental DNA, Volume 8, Issue 5, September‐October 2026.Our key findings show that polyurethane passive air samplers can sample insects, although highly abundant insects tend to be overrepresented. Our results also suggest that airborne eDNA might give us a broad temporal image of the insect communities over several weeks, rather than a snapshot of when samples are collected.

New records of Psocoptera from Egypt

New Zealand Journal of Zoology, Volume 53, Issue 3, September 2026.Hirstiosoma novaehollandiae Womersley, 1936 is redescribed based on three males, deutonymph, and larva, which is described for the first time. These specimens were collected from leaf litter near Thames municipality, Waikato Region, New Zealand. Conspecificity between larval and postlarval stages was confirmed by means of cytochrome oxidase I barcoding.

New records and descriptions of mediterranean Psocoptera (Psocoptera)
Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift (neue Folge), 1989 Recent collecting trips to Southern Spain and Morocco have resulted in the capture of some very interesting Psocoptera species, two of which are new to science: Mesopsocus andalusicus sp. n. and Trichadenotecnum maroccanum sp. n.
