IGBT Behavioral PSPICE Model

2006 25th International Conference on Microelectronics, 2006
Behavioral IGBT macromodel for OrCad PSPICE simulator is presented. The model is parameterized and it is implemented as a subcircuit in the simulator. The nonlinear DC equations and voltage-controlled capacitors are precisely represented using ABM method, which is resulting in good accuracy.

PSpice modeling of capacitive microfabricated ultrasonic transducers

Ultrasonics, 2002
Capacitive microfabricated ultrasonic transducers (cMUTs) are the newest and potentially the most promising devices to convert electrical into acoustic signals and vice-versa. These devices are based on the capacitance modulation of a microcondenser which is obtained by microfabrication onto a silicon substrate.

Pspice Modelling of Photovoltaic Arrays

International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1995
PSPICE modelling of photovoltaic arrays A detailed model of a photovoltaic array written in PSPICE is presented in this paper. The powerful graphics post-processor that accompanies the software program is used to display array characteristics as a function of certain parameters such as insulation and temperature.

A Universal PSpice Model for HID Lamps

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2003
Based on the physical laws of plasma discharge, a simplified but accurate model that can be easily implemented in PSpice is presented. This model does not require data from lamp manufacturers. Its parameters can be determined from external measurements of the lamps under low-frequency operation only, but the model is accurate for both low- and high ...

Modelling a GTO with PSPICE

Conference Record of the 1992 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2003
The structure of a PSPICE gate turn-off thyristor (GTO) model is described. A main principle is to calculate the model parameters without the requirement of physical device data like doping profile and device dimensions. All parameters are derived from the GTO data sheet and from measurements of the dynamic behavior.

Interdigital transducer analysis using equivalent PSpice model

Ultrasonics, 2002
Interdigital transducers generating surface acoustic waves have found numerous applications. The present paper deals with an equivalent model of a single interdigital transducer as well as an SAW filter complying with the PSpice programme for the analysis of electronic systems.

PSpice High-Frequency Dynamic Fluorescent Lamp Model

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1998
A new PSpice dynamic fluorescent lamp model based on high-frequency lamp characteristics is presented. The new model avoids the convergence problems found when using the Mader-Horn lamp model. A systematic approach is developed to derive the lamp model parameters from experimental data. Simulations are shown to agree closely with experimental data.

Modeling NMOS snapback characteristic using PSpice

2012 35th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology, 2012
Gate-grounded NMOS is often used as ESD protection for circuit design. The ESD behavior of the NMOS transistor is based on the snapback action of its parasitic, lateral NPN BJT. Modeling this behavior of NMOS devices is very important for design of ICs, because there are no standard models, which can be used for describing high current regions in the ...
