Behavioral modeling of Digitally Adjustable Current Amplifier

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advances in Telecommunications, Electrotechnics, Signals and Systems, 2015
This article presents the digitally adjustable current amplifier (DACA) and its analog behavioral model (ABM), which is suitable for both ideal and advanced analyses of the function block using DACA as active element. There are four levels of this model,

A Device for Investigating the AC Characteristics of Metal Oxide Varistors

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 18, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This study presents an insulated‐gate bipolar transistor‐based device designed to address the limitations of existing power supply systems, which are unable to simultaneously maintain waveform stability and provide sufficient power when varistors operate in the non‐linear region. ABSTRACT In recent years, the AC characteristics of metal oxide varistors

A Versatile Cell of Multimode First‐Order Universal Filter Using VCIIs

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This article presents a new generic core cell for designing the first‐order universal filter employed second‐generation voltage conveyor (VCII+). With appropriate admittance selection, the proposed core cell can derive four different filter types, namely, low‐pass, high‐pass, inverting all‐pass, and noninverting all‐pass functions and encompassing four

Analytic models of CMOS logic in various regimes [PDF]

open access: yesSerbian Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2014
In this paper, comparative analytic models of static and dynamic characteristics of CMOS digital circuits in strong, weak and mixed inversion regime have been described. Term mixed inversion is defined for the first time.

Index‐aware learning of circuits

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, Volume 52, Issue 11, Page 5516-5538, November 2024.
The index‐aware learning approach uses the dissection index to decouple a differential‐algebraic equation (DAE) into an ordinary differential equation (ODE) and a purely algebraic equation (AE). It then only learns the differential variables appearing in the ODE, and reconstructs the remaining algebraic variables from the differential ones using the AE.

Finite-time synchronization of tunnel diode based chaotic oscillators

open access: yes, 2013
This paper addresses the problem of finite-time synchronization of tunnel diode based chaotic oscillators. After a brief investigation of its chaotic dynamics, we propose an active adaptive feedback coupling which accomplishes the synchronization of ...

Field‐Free Memristive Spin–Orbit Torque Switching in A1 CoPt Single Layer for Image Edge Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 10, Issue 8, August 2024.
The CoPt single layer SOT devices can realize magnetic field‐free switching, whose polarity can be reversed when the current is rotated by 60°, and anomalous Hall resistance can be controlled by using different current pulses. In addition, an analog circuit is proposed to detect the edges of images based on the binary‐state magnetic switching of the ...

First‐order universal shadow filter designs with scaled time constants

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, Volume 52, Issue 8, Page 4040-4053, August 2024.
First‐order generalized filter designs which simultaneously offer implementation of the low‐pass, high‐pass, and all‐pass filters basic functions with scaling of the associated time constant are presented in this work. These have been achieved thanks to the employment of the shadow filtering technique, which enables the utilization of a “hidden filter”
