This study identified six clinically relevant quality indicators feasible to measure using NSW population‐based data. However, these indicators were restricted to surgical processes and outcomes. A large gap remains in available data to produce reliable and clinically meaningful quality measurements across the entire patient pathway.

Quality of Life Among Thai Patients With Advanced Cancer: Findings From the APPROACH Study
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Thailand, but quality of life with cancer is not well understood. Thai patients had relatively high quality of life, but the pervasiveness of self‐blame and its association with reduced quality of life, and the large proportion with depressive symptoms, stresses the need for mental health care.

This mixed method study evaluated the psychological impact and perspectives associated with early and late termination of pregnancy (TOP). Early TOP due to fetal anomalies is associated with a lower psychological impact compared to late TOP. Pregnancy termination has a substantial emotional impact regardless of gestational age.
