A new ctenochasmatid (Pterosauria, Pterodactyloidea) from the late Jurassic of Uruguay
Journal of South American Earth Sciences, 2021Abstract A new ctenochasmatid pterosaur from the Tacuarembo Formation (Late Jurassic of Uruguay), Tacuadactylus luciae gen. et sp. nov. is described, based on a rostrum fragment with spatulated tip and dentary fragments. It closely resembles Gnathosaurus in the orientation of the teeth and the presence of interalveolar concavities.

AbstractThe remarkable extinct flying reptiles, the pterosaurs, show increasing body size over 100 million years of the Late Jurassic and Cretaceous, and this seems to be a rare example of a driven trend to large size (Cope's Rule). The size increases continue throughout the long time span, and small forms disappear as larger pterosaurs evolve.

Pterosauria from the Late Triassic of Southern Brazil
2010A few postcranial remains of a Late Triassic pterosaur from the early Coloradian Caturrita Formation of Rio Grande do Sul are communicated. The general morphology of the coracoid, proximal portion of the humerus, femur, tibia and fibula suggests that it is more primitive than the pterosaurs from the Norian of northern Italy.
