Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Factors Associated with Low Muscle Tone and Impact of Common Musculoskeletal Problems on Motor Development in Preterm Infants at One Year of Corrected Age [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2019
Introduction: Structural immaturity of muscular system in Preterm Infants (PTI) results in maturation related hypotonia which is found to be influenced by risk factors present at the time of birth. Low muscle tone can lead to lower extremity malalignment,

Predictive value of EEG-derived pain threshold index for acute postoperative pain in children

open access: yesFrontiers in Pediatrics, 2022
BackgroundElectroencephalogram (EEG)-derived pain threshold index (PTI) has been developed as a novel pain recognition indicator and has been proved to be useful in the prediction of acute postoperative pain in adults.

The visual orbits of the spectroscopic binaries HD 6118 and HD 27483 from the Palomar Testbed Interferometer

open access: yes, 2003
We present optical interferometric observations of two double-lined spectroscopic binaries, HD 6118 and HD 27483, taken with the Palomar Testbed Interferometer (PTI) in the K band.

Erasable FAP Targeted Spray‐On Probe for Fluorescence‐Guided Surgery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present the first erasable spray‐on probe for fluorescence‐guided surgery. Following topical delivery, FAP‐FLASH550 targets fibroblast activation protein–expressing stromal cells, delineating tumor margins with high tumor‐to‐background ratios. A 365 nm UV light pulse rapidly erases fluorescent signals through triazene photodegradation and subsequent

Purification of Flagellin from Acidovorax avenae and Analysis of Plant Immune Responses Induced by the Purified Flagellin

open access: yesBio-Protocol, 2016
Plants sense potential pathogens by recognizing conserved pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that cause PAMP-triggered immunity (PTI) including the generation of reactive oxygen species, callose deposition, and expression of several PTI ...

Evaluation of Pre-Trial Diversion Project, State of Alaska, Department of Law [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
In February 1978 the Alaska Department of Law initiated a pilot pretrial intervention (PTI) project in Anchorage directed at first-time property offenders with no history of violence and no current drug or alcohol dependency.

Potential Driven Non-Reactive Phase Transitions of Ordered Porphyrin Molecules on Iodine-Modified Au(100): An Electrochemical Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (EC-STM) Study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The modelling of long-range ordered nanostructures is still a major issue for the scientific community. In this work, the self-assembly of redox-active tetra(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)-porphyrin cations (H2TMPyP) on an iodine-modified Au(100) electrode surface ...

Mechanically Triggered DNA Nanovehicles for Targeted Dual‐Drug Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mechanically triggered DNA nanovehicle is introduced that co‐releases two anticancer drugs in response to integrin‐mediated cellular forces. Cholesterol‐anchored DNA assemblies undergo force‐induced unfolding at cell–cell junctions, enabling selective, localized dual‐drug activation in cancer cells while minimizing off‐target toxicity in low‐tension ...
