Abstract The tadpole of Ptychadena uzungwensis is described from material collected at Mufindi, southern Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania. We provide a detailed description of the tadpole based on an ontogenetic series, including color photographs of living specimens and buccopharyngeal morphology.
