Ptychography with multilayer Laue lenses
Two different multilayer Laue lens designs were made with total deposition thicknesses of 48 µm and 53 µm, and focal lengths of 20.0 mm and 12.5 mm at 20.0 keV, respectively. From these two multilayer systems, several lenses were manufactured for one- and two-dimensional focusing.

Subsampled STEM-ptychography [PDF]
Ptychography has been shown to be an efficient phase contrast imaging technique for scanning transmission electron microscopes (STEM). STEM-ptychography uses a fast pixelated detector to collect a "4-dimensional" dataset consisting of a 2D electron ...

Multiplexed Single-Shot Ptychography
Imaging and Applied Optics 2018 (3D, AO, AIO, COSI, DH, IS, LACSEA, LS&C, MATH, pcAOP), 2018We demonstrate experimentally multiplexed single-shot ptychography. Specifically, we present a polarization-resolved single-shot ptychographic microscope, where the orthogonally polarized amplitudes and phases of a polarization-sensitive object are reconstructed from ptychographic data recorded in a single camera exposure.

Single-shot ptychography & sparsity-based subwavelength ptychography
Frontiers in Optics 2015, 2015We overcome two major limitations in ptychography - a powerful scanning coherent diffraction imaging technique. We demonstrate single-shot ptychography, overcoming the scanning temporal resolution limit and demonstrate sparsity-based subwavelength ptychography, overcoming the Abbe resolution limit.

Superresolution imaging via ptychography
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2011Coherent diffractive imaging of objects is made considerably more practicable by using ptychography, where a set of diffraction patterns replaces a single measurement and introduces a high degree of redundancy into the recorded data. Here we demonstrate that this redundancy allows diffraction patterns to be extrapolated beyond the aperture of the ...

Polychromatic near-field ptychography
2016 International Conference on Image and Vision Computing New Zealand (IVCNZ), 2016Near-field X-ray ptychography has recently been experimentally shown to be able to recover a sample's complex valued transmission function from multiple near-field diffraction images, each with a lateral shift of the sample, in the monochromatic (single energy) case.

Improved Three-Dimensional Reconstructions in Electron Ptychography through Defocus Series Measurements [PDF]
A detailed analysis of ptychography for three-dimensional (3D) phase reconstructions of thick specimens is performed. We introduce multi-focus ptychography, which incorporates a 4D-STEM defocus series to enhance the quality of 3D reconstructions along ...

A Methodology for Robust Multislice Ptychography
Microscopy and MicroanalysisAbstract While multislice electron ptychography can provide thermal vibration limited resolution and structural information in 3D, it relies on properly selecting many intertwined acquisition and computational parameters. Here, we outline a methodology for selecting acquisition parameters to enable robust ptychographic reconstructions ...
