Prediction of γ-ray shielding performance and study of Bi/PU coated fabric
Textile Research Journal, 2022The radiation shielding simulation model of coated fabric (flexible composite) was established for the first time by SuperMC nuclear simulation software to help solve the problems of small volume, complex structure, and difficult design of flexible shielding materials, and the γ-ray shielding performance was calculated.

Multifunctional outdoor fabrics with ATO and TiO2 embedded PU coatings
Pigment & Resin Technology, 2019Purpose The purpose of this paper is to invent a new functional coated fabric based on nanomaterials to shield UV and IR. Multifunctional surface coatings with ultraviolet (UV)/near infrared radiations protection and waterproof were widely applied in outdoor fabrics.

Tensile characteristics of flexible PU-coated multi-axial warp-knitted fabrics
Journal of Industrial Textiles, 2016In practice, the coated fabric is available in many shapes and sizes, not just rectangle and plane. In order to increase the shape-shifting abilities of coated fabrics, polyurethane-coated multi-axial warp-knitted fabric (PU-CMWKF) is developed. In this paper, the tensile characteristics of PU-CMWKF were investigated.

Wear‐resistant cotton fabrics modified by PU coatings prepared via mist polymerization
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2015ABSTRACTCotton fabric was successfully modified using a simple mist polymerization with polyurethane (PU) prepolymer and ethylene glycol as the monomers. Scanning electron microscope showed the presence of a very thin polymer coating on the cotton fiber surface. Martindale abrasion tests revealed that the thin PU coating imparted to the cotton fabric a

AbstractBased on the characteristics of high tenacity, low density, flexible design, the coated fabric has emerged as a promising construct for tensile test. Here, it reports the deformation mechanism of a PU-coated multi-axial warp-knitted fabric under uniaxial tensile via a digital image correlation system. Specimens produced by us are chase in three

AbstractThis research paper presented a novel approach of developing excellent protection from ultraviolet (UV) radiation of cotton fabrics by means of water vapor permeable (WVP) coatings containing multiwall carbon nanotube (MWNT), a stable and strongly UV absorbing species. The WVP of MWNT containing UV protective coatings of the present development
