New hierarchical assignment without public key cryptography
The access privileges in many distributed systems can be effectively organized as a hierarchical tree. Distributing distinct cryptographic keys to distinct entities, according to their privileges, provides a good solution to the hierarchical access ...

Location‐Specific Hematoma Volume Predicts Early Neurological Deterioration in Supratentorial ICH
ABSTRACT Objective Early neurological deterioration (END) adversely affects outcomes in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aimed to determine the location‐specific hematoma volumes for END in supratentorial ICH patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed supratentorial ICH patients presenting from two prospective cohorts.

Distributed Authentication Using Public Key Cryptography [PDF]
In distributed Authentication between clients andservers using public key cryptography approach, both client andserver do not need to maintain keys with Key DistributionCenter (KDC). Maintaining keys at the server may cause theburden at the server.

Sex Representation in US Stroke Clinical Trials: A Decade of Trends and Challenges
ABSTRACT Objective Stroke remains a major cause of disability and mortality in the US, with significant sex‐based disparities, and females remain underrepresented in stroke clinical trials. We aimed to examine sex representation in US‐based stroke clinical trials, identify trial characteristics associated with higher female enrollment (≥ 50%), and ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

Compliance Defects in Public-Key Cryptography
Public-key cryptography has low infrastructural overhead because public-key users bear a substantial but hidden administrative burden. A public-key security system trusts its users to validate each others ' public keys rigorously and to manage their

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...
