Geometry‐Controlled Assembly of Self‐Standing Nanorods With Undisturbed Plasmonics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 45, 13 August 2026.
This study reports a geometry‐driven assembly strategy to vertically align Au@Ag core–shell nanorods on PS beads. This well‐defined architecture enables the preservation of the intrinsic optical response of individual nanorods. Thus, demonstrate a highly reproducible SERS enhancement with exceptional uniformity.

‘They are not predators: They are a higher power’—Relational values and principles framing human–predator relationship in Noongar Country, Southwestern Australia

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 8, Page 2682-2699, August 2026.

Interconnections of Water and Menstrual Justice: Understanding Water Justice as a Menstrual Justice Issue in Canada

open access: yesSexuality, Gender &Policy, Volume 9, Issue 3, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Menstrual justice is deeply interconnected with water justice, yet these topics remain largely siloed in policy and research—particularly in Canada, where water access is often assumed to be a non‐issue. However, existing literature reveals that inadequate water and infrastructure significantly affect menstrual hygiene, dignity, and health ...

Perceived costs as drivers of wildlife management preferences in rural Tanzanian communities

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 4, August 2026.
Abstract Effectively managing human–wildlife interactions is crucial for fostering coexistence on shared landscapes. Integrating traditional practices, livelihoods, and conservation with Indigenous‐led furbearer camera trapping

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 4, August 2026.
Abstract Contemporary conservation goals have a greater chance of success when practitioners collaborate with Indigenous communities. Effectiveness of conservation lands in Mexico for safeguarding terrestrial endemic species from the human‐induced extinction crisis

open access: yesConservation Science and Practice, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
Across 1639 endemic Mexican species, we show that most species' ranges coincide with moderate to high human pressure, while existing conservation lands cover only a small fraction of their distributions. This spatial mismatch indicates that current conservation–land networks are insufficient to prevent future biodiversity loss. Substantial expansion of
