Pullback of measures on Riemannian manifolds
AbstractA general formula for the pullback of measures on submanifolds of Riemannian manifolds is derived. We prove the equivalence of three different approaches to distributions supported on submanifolds, originating from Gelfand and Shilov, Friedlander, and a characterization using single-layer distributions, respectively.

On the U-WPF Acts over Monoids [PDF]
Valdis Laan in [5] introduced an extension of strong flatness which is called weak pullback flatness. In this paper we introduce a new property of acts over monoids, called U-WPF which is an extension of weak pullback flatness and give a classification ...

Examining Pipe–Borehole Wall Contact and Pullback Loads for Horizontal Directional Drilling
Pipeline pullback load is a crucial basis for drill rig selection and pipeline strength design. This paper presents a new pullback load calculation model from the perspective of pipe–borehole wall contact. The pipe–borehole wall contact analysis includes

Abstract We prove that the stable rank of any pullback (fibre product) does not exceed the stable ranks of factors. We obtain also another result bounding the stable rank of a ring by the stable ranks of its factor rings.

Pullback and uniform exponential attractors for non-autonomous Oregonator systems
We consider the long-time global dynamics of non-autonomous Oregonator systems. This system is a coupled system of three reaction-diffusion equations, that arises from the Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction.
