Categorical Pullbacks [PDF]

open access: yesFormalized Mathematics, 2015
Summary The main purpose of this article is to introduce the categorical concept of pullback in Mizar. In the first part of this article we redefine homsets, monomorphisms, epimorpshisms and isomorphisms [7] within a free-object category [1] and it is shown there that ordinal numbers can be considered as categories.

Pullback Attractors for a Nonautonomous Retarded Degenerate Parabolic Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2020
This paper is devoted to a nonautonomous retarded degenerate parabolic equation. We first show the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution for the equation by using the standard Galerkin method.

Degenerate pullback attractors for the 3D Navier-Stokes equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
As in our previous paper, the 3D Navier-Stokes equations with a translationally bounded force contain pullback attractors in a weak sense. Moreover, those attractors consist of complete bounded trajectories.

Lax pullback complements and pullbacks of spans

open access: yesTheory and Applications of Categories, 2018
Pullback complements were introduced by the second author [Partial products and pullback complements, Seminarberichte (Fernuniversität Hagen) 18, 199--216 (1983); see also \textit{R. Dyckhoff} and \textit{W. Tholen}, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 49, 103--116 (1987; Zbl 0659.18003)] and, since then, they were used, especially in theoretical computer science ...

Random Attractor for Stochastic Wave Equation with Arbitrary Exponent and Additive Noise on $\mathbb{R}^n$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Asymptotic random dynamics of weak solutions for a damped stochastic wave equation with the nonlinearity of arbitrarily large exponent and the additive noise on $\mathbb{R}^n$ is investigated.

Parameter shifts for nonautonomous systems in low dimension: Bifurcation- and Rate-induced tipping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We discuss the nonlinear phenomena of irreversible tipping for non-autonomous systems where time-varying inputs correspond to a smooth "parameter shift" from one asymptotic value to another.

Pullback attraction in H 0 1 $H_{0}^{1}$ for semilinear heat equation in expanding domains

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2020
In this article, we consider the pullback attraction in H 0 1 $H_{0}^{1}$ of pullback attractor for semilinear heat equation with domains expanding in time. Firstly, we establish higher-order integrability of difference about variational solutions; then,

Pullback dan Pushout di Kategori Modul Topologis

open access: yesJurnal Matematika Integratif, 2022
A pullback of two morphisms with a common codomain $f\colon A\to C$ and $g\colon B\to C$ is the limit of a diagram consisting $f$ and $g$. The dual notion of a pullback is called a pushout. A pushout of two morphisms with a common domain $k\colon A\to B$

Entropy increase in switching systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The relation between the complexity of a time-switched dynamics and the complexity of its control sequence depends critically on the concept of a non-autonomous pullback attractor.
