Exposure to CS causes an elevation of AARS1 levels, which increases the levels of RUNX3 lactylation at the K193 site and increases protein levels of RUNX3 through inhibition of autolysosomal degradation. Elevated RUNX3 levels promote CD8+T cell activation and augment their cytotoxicity, which induces alveolar epithelial cell death and facilitates the ...

OAF Blocks SIAH1‐Mediated Degradation of SCPX, a Therapeutic Strategy for MASLD
This study shows OAF directly binds to SCPX and inhibits its interaction with the E3 ligase SIAH1, thereby protecting SCPX from ubiquitin‐dependent degradation and stabilizing its levels. This OAF‐SCPX axis represents a novel pathway in lipid homeostasis, highlighting OAF as a promising therapeutic candidate for MASLD.

A dual‐transmembrane Bicephali CAR‐T platform simultaneously targets CD276 and NKG2D ligands to address antigen heterogeneity in non‐small cell lung cancer. By improving immune synapse formation, mitochondrial fitness, antioxidant capacity, and stem‐like persistence, this design enhances durable tumor control and provides a versatile strategy to ...

PRIMARY PULMONARY NON-HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA
Pulmonary non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a very rare tumor, which comprises only 0.5 % of all malignancies of lungs. Recommended treatment options include complete surgical excision, surgery followed by radiotherapy or chemotherapy alone but, the optimal ...

Primary pulmonary follicular lymphoma
Abstract Primary pulmonary follicular lymphoma is an extremely rare subset of extra-nodal non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. We present a successful work-up and surgical management of this disease entity. The patient is a 74-year-old man who presented with an enlarging ground glass opacity on his computed tomography scan.

Mitochondrial localization of Cx26 emerges as a double‐edged sword in colorectal cancer. PIMT‐mediated methylation of Cx26 promotes its mitochondrial localization and stability. Mitochondrial Cx26 then facilitates ER‐mitochondria communication and Ca2+ signaling, thereby promoting metastatic progression. Bortezomib exploits this malignant adaptation by

Origin and pathogenesis of nodular lymphocyte–predominant Hodgkin lymphoma as revealed by global gene expression analysis [PDF]
The pathogenesis of nodular lymphocyte–predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) and its relationship to other lymphomas are largely unknown. This is partly because of the technical challenge of analyzing its rare neoplastic lymphocytic and histiocytic (L&H ...

ABSTRACT Current treatments for immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA), rare autoimmune diseases in which autoreactive B cells play a major role, can lead to high response rates; however, for many patients these responses are not durable or maintained after treatment discontinuation.
