Pulmonary valve spindle-cell lipoma: A case report
Primary cardiac tumours are rare and most of them are benign. Myxomas, fibroelastomas and lipomas are common in adults. Primary valvular cardiac tumours are even more rare and affect all four valves in a similar proportion. Valvular lipomas are very rare.

Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Placement [PDF]
Patients with congenital heart disease and pulmonary valve disease need multiple procedures over their lifetimes to replace their pulmonary valves. Chronic pulmonary stenosis, regurgitation, or both have untoward effects on ventricular function and on the clinical status of these patients. To date, all right ventricle–pulmonary artery conduits have had

Isolated Pulmonary Valve Endocarditis [PDF]
Infective endocarditis involving the right side of the heart is typically associated with IV drug abuse and chronic indwelling catheters which commonly involve the tricuspid valve. Isolated pulmonary valve endocarditis (PVE) is a rare clinical entity.

Pulmonary valve: contradictions in terminology and anatomy
Data on the anatomy of human heart valves is of a great importance for cardiac surgery, X-ray and ultrasound diagnostics, and additive technologies in bioengineering. This review analyzed Russian and English-written papers and presented contradictions of

Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Computational Modeling Meets 3D Bioprinting: Emerging Synergies in Cardiovascular Disease Modeling
Emerging advances in three‐dimensional bioprinting and computational modeling are reshaping cardiovascular (CV) research by enabling more realistic, patient‐specific tissue platforms. This review surveys cutting‐edge approaches that merge biomimetic CV constructs with computational simulations to overcome the limitations of traditional models, improve ...
