ABSTRACT Objective Infertility affects up to 20% of couples in high‐income countries, which has led to an increased use of assisted reproductive technology (ART). While previous studies have linked ART to a higher risk of major congenital heart defects (CHD), less is known about the associated risk of minor CHD.

Cardiovascular outcomes for Australian women with rheumatic heart disease during pregnancy: A retrospective linked data analysis, 2002–2017

This retrospective cohort study used linked data to measure the proportion of women with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) who experienced major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after 20 weeks of gestation. Before birth, 4.5% of women with initially uncomplicated RHD and 31.8% of women with initially complicated RHD experienced RHD‐MACE.

Mitral regurgitation and decompensated heart failure in a young pregnant pony mare: An aetiological challenge
