Pulmonary valve disease: Pulmonary valve stenosis
2015Introduction Transcatheter therapy of valvar pulmonary stenosis is one of the rst, if not the rst, catheter intervention that has facilitated the application of this technology for children so that many of them can benet by less invasive treatment for structural congenital heart defects.

PULMONARY VALVE MOTION IN VALVULAR PULMONARY STENOSIS IN CHILDHOOD
Acta Medica Scandinavica, 1979SUMMARY:Echocardiography tracings of the pulmonary valve was recorded in 16 patients with pulmonic stenosis (PS) ranging in ages from 6 to 14 years (average 10 years). 11 patients had an isolated PS and 5 had a PS associated with atrial septal defect. In 2 patients with mild PS (gradient 15 mm Hg) the depth of the “a” wave was normal: 3 and 4 mm.In 14 ...

Congenital stenosis of pulmonary and aortic valves
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1965Abstract A male patient aged 28 years with the unusual combination of valvular pulmonary and aortic stenosis is described. When he first presented, the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis was made. Later when he developed symptoms of dizziness and syncope on exertion, he appeared to have severe aortic stenosis but with normal respiratory ...

A family with congenital pulmonary valve stenosis
Human Genetics, 1974Congenital pulmonary stenosis has been found in three successive generations of one family. No members of the family had any extra-cardiac malformations or abnormal facial features. The pedigree is compatible with an autosomal dominant made of inheritance. © 1974 Springer-Verlag.

Coarctation of the aorta associated with pulmonary valve stenosis
International Journal of Cardiology, 1986A 7-year-old patient had coarctation of the aorta associated with moderate and dysplastic pulmonary valve stenosis. The child underwent corrective surgery of the coarctation. This unusual association cannot be satisfactorily explained by the theory of fetal flow patterns.

Pulmonary valve stenosis associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Pediatric Cardiology, 1987The association of pulmonic stenosis with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is rare in infancy. Presented here is an infant with atypical picture of pulmonic stenosis and echocardiographic evidence of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. At eight months of age, she had a successful percutaneous balloon valvuloplasty and has subsequently been managed with propranolol.

Pulmonary Valve Stenosis and Hemophilia A
Archives of Internal Medicine, 1986• We treated three unrelated patients with hemophilia A and congenital pulmonary valve stenosis. In two patients, the occurrence of the cardiac malformation was sporadic and in one familial. The coexistence of hemophilia A and pulmonary valve stenosis might suggest a genetic linkage for both disorders.

Dysplastic Pulmonary Valve Stenosis
2014Hypoplasia of the pulmonary valve (PV) ring and dysplastic PV may exist in rare patients. PV dysplasia is described by thickened and nodular valvular leaflets with no or minimal commissural fusion, hypoplasia of the valve ring, and absence of poststenotic dilation of the pulmonary artery (PA).
