Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1972Abstract Cavities were prepared in forty-five teeth from four monkeys. Soft carious human dentine was placed in fifteen cavities, which were then filled with amalgam. Guttapercha temporary fillings were placed in seventeen teeth, and thirteen cavities were left unfilled.
