A New X-Ray Census of Rotation Powered Pulsars
To date, over 4000 pulsars have been detected. In this study, we identify 231 X-ray counterparts of Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF) pulsars by performing a spatial cross match across the Chandra, XMM-Newton observational catalogs.

We employed the fast-folding algorithm on L -band globular cluster (GC) observations taken with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope to search for new pulsars, especially those with a long rotational period.

Efficiency of Nonthermal Pulsed Emission from Eight MeV Pulsars
We report on the properties of pulsed X-ray emission from eight MeV pulsars using XMM-Newton, NICER, NuSTAR, and HXMT data. For five of the eight MeV pulsars, the X-ray spectra can be fit by a broken power-law model with a break energy of ∼5–10 keV.

It seems hard to realise, today, that pulsars were totally unknown at the time of the last General Assembly. The discovery of pulsars dates from November 28th, 1967, when the first pulses were recorded from the source now known as CP 1919. Since then we have witnessed an astonishing phase of activity, amongst observers and theoreticians alike, which ...

Pulsar timing arrays (PTAs) are designed to detect nanohertz-frequency gravitational waves (GWs). Since GWs are anticipated from cosmic strings, PTAs offer a viable approach to testing their existence.

Measuring a Gravitomagnetic Effect with the Triple Pulsar PSR J0337+1715
To the first post-Newtonian order, the orbital angular momentum of the fast-revolving inner binary of the triple system PSR J0337+1715, made of a millisecond pulsar and a white dwarf, induces an annular gravitomagnetic field which displaces the line of ...

Identifying Pulsar Candidates in Interferometric Radio Images Using Scintillation
Pulsars have been primarily detected by their narrow pulses or periodicity in time domain data. Interferometric surveys for pulsars are challenging due to the trade-off between beam sensitivity and beam size and the corresponding tradeoff between survey ...
